Synopsis

Ikendu is a Malian refugee now in Switzerland after passing through Libya and Italy. In Bellinzona he meets Patricia, a Czech single mother, who works in a bike shop. They fall in love, get married and plan their new life together. One day Ikendu is arrested and incriminated as a drug dealer, but he pleads not guilty. The couple’s relationship deteriorates, revealing ambiguities and hidden thruths. Nonetheless from the ruins of this painful conflict, the hope for a rebirth will arise.
